Which WoW Forever class should I play?
For the easiest solo leveling pick Hunter or Warlock; for the fastest dungeon groups pick a healer or tank. All nine classes return, and six race and class combinations are new.
- Easiest solo: Hunter, Warlock
- Most wanted in groups: healers and tanks
- Hybrid classes can tank, heal or deal damage
- Six new race and class pairs

FAQ
What classes are in WoW Forever?＋
Nine: Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock and Druid. There are no Death Knights, Monks or other later classes.
What is the easiest class to level in WoW Forever?＋
Hunter and Warlock. Both have a pet that takes the hits while they deal damage, so they rarely stop to eat or die. This is our judgment from the class kits, not a Blizzard ranking.
Can Horde play Paladin and Alliance play Shaman?＋
Yes. Undead can be paladins and Dwarves can be shaman in Forever, along with Human Hunter, Gnome Priest, Orc Mage and Troll Warlock. See the races page for the full matrix.
Which class should I pick for raids?＋
Every class has a raid spot. Healers (Priest, Paladin, Shaman, Druid) and tanks (Warrior, plus Druid and Paladin) find groups fastest. Pick the class you enjoy; Forever is a long game.
Did Forever change class talents?＋
Some. Most trees keep their Classic names, while a few gain new talents. Each class page lists what changed, and the talent calculator marks new talents.
