Is WoW Forever down?
Check the live board above: it shows Blizzard's own up/down flag for all 12 Forever rulesets in four regions and refreshes every 60 seconds. If everything is green but you can't log in, the problem is a login queue or your client, not the server.
- 4 regions: US (Americas & Oceania), EU, KR, TW
- US & EU: Normal, PvP, Roleplay, Roleplay PvP
- KR & TW: Normal and PvP
- Hardcore rulesets arrive in winter (no date yet)

What to know before you log in
Pick your ruleset, not a realm
You choose Normal, PvP, Roleplay or RP-PvP when you make a character. Friends on the same ruleset and region can always group; layering sorts out the rest.
Queues peak at prime time
The worst waits are evenings and the first weekend. Logging in at the region's early morning is the one tip that reliably works. Queue guide →

FAQ
Is WoW Forever down right now?＋
The board at the top of this page answers that live. It asks Blizzard's own realm-status service for every Forever ruleset in the Americas, Europe, Korea and Taiwan and refreshes every 60 seconds. If a ruleset shows Offline, Blizzard itself is reporting it down, usually for a restart or maintenance.
Why are there no realm names like Faerlina or Mankrik?＋
Forever has no named realms. Each region runs one large realm per ruleset (Normal, PvP, Roleplay, Roleplay PvP) and uses layering to spread players out, so the ruleset is the thing to check. Korea and Taiwan launched with Normal and PvP only.
How long is the WoW Forever queue?＋
Blizzard does not publish queue lengths, and nobody outside the login screen can measure them reliably. The beta had queues of an hour or more at peak. See the login queue guide for when queues are worst and what actually helps.
When is weekly maintenance?＋
Forever follows the normal WoW maintenance window for its region: Tuesday mornings Pacific time in the Americas and Wednesday mornings in Europe. Rulesets flip to Offline on this board while it runs; turn on Alert me when it changes to get a browser notification when they come back.
Do I need a separate purchase to play?＋
No. Forever is included with an active WoW subscription or game time. The Skyborne packs and the collector's edition are optional extras.
Is this an official Blizzard page?＋
No. Forever Status is an unofficial fan site. The status data comes from the same public service Blizzard's realm-status page uses; we only display it.
